Printing Menus Just Got Easier: 5 New Print Features
Creating a great printed menu shouldn't require fighting with page breaks, font sizes, and printer settings.
We've made several improvements to the Live Tap Lists print tool to give you more control over your printed menus—and make it much faster to get the layout you want.
Here are five new features to check out.
1. Add Image Background Watermarks
Want to add some branding to your printed menu?
You can now add an image as a background watermark. This gives you an easy way to add subtle branding or visual elements behind your menu items without getting in the way of the content.
2. Use a Vertical Column Layout
You can now arrange your printed menu using a vertical column layout.
This gives you another option for organizing your menu and can be especially useful when you have a lot of items to fit onto a page.
3. Repeat Your Logo, Header & Footer on Every Page
Printing a multi-page menu? Your branding doesn't have to be limited to the first page.
You can now choose to display your logo, header, and footer on every page of your printed menu.
This makes multi-page menus feel more consistent and professional—and makes sure customers know what they're looking at on every page.
4. Print Half-Page Menus
Need smaller menus?
The new half-page layout lets you print two single-column menus on a single sheet of paper. Simply print the page and cut it in half.
It's a simple way to create smaller menus while using less paper.
5. Quickly Fit Your Menus to the Right Number of Pages
One of the most frustrating parts of printing a menu is getting everything to fit.
Now you can simply choose "Fit to 1 Page" (or your desired number of pages), and Live Tap Lists automatically adjusts the sizing to make it fit.
No more manually changing font sizes and repeatedly printing test pages to get the layout right.
Better Printing, Less Hassle
These improvements are all about making printed taplists easier to create and easier to customize.
Whether you're printing a simple one-page menu, a multi-page taplist, or smaller half-page menus, you now have more tools to get the result you want without spending time wrestling with formatting.
