GoTab integration
Use your GoTab menu data to power Live Tap Lists menus. GoTab sends changes in real time, so your TVs, print, website, and QR menus stay in sync.
- Real-timeGoTab sends menu changes the moment they happen.
- New items inactiveNothing appears on a menu by accident.
- You stay in controlOverride any field and it stops syncing for that item.
- Disconnect anytimeYour menu items stay in Live Tap Lists.
The GoTab and Live Tap Lists integration lets bars and breweries display digital menus on TVs using live GoTab data, with no manual updates required. GoTab sends changes in real time, so when you update an item or it sells out, every menu follows.

How does the integration work?
The integration lets you map your GoTab menu data directly into Live Tap Lists. From there, you control how that data is displayed on screen without touching your POS setup. You choose which menu items to show, how they are grouped and labeled, and what additional details appear on TVs. Live Tap Lists handles the presentation. GoTab handles the data.
Why does it matter for guests and staff?
Menus that stay accurate keep guests informed about what is available. Staff answer fewer menu questions, lines move faster, and your venue looks more professional. Because menus update automatically, your team can focus on service instead of screen management.
Watch: how to connect with GoTab
Setup
- Map your GoTab menu data into Live Tap Lists.
- Choose which menu items to show.
- Choose how items are grouped and labeled.
- Choose what additional details appear on TVs.
- When a new GoTab item arrives as inactive, add any extra information in Live Tap Lists and set it to active so it appears on your menus.
How POS syncing works
These behaviors are the same for every Live Tap Lists POS integration.
- Per-field control. For each item you choose which fields sync from your POS. Overriding a field in Live Tap Lists stops that field from syncing.
- New items arrive inactive. New POS items come in as inactive, so nothing appears on a menu by accident.
- Disconnecting keeps your menu. All menu items stay in Live Tap Lists. Reconnecting pulls the full catalog again.
- Need another POS? Request your POS.
GoTab integration FAQ
How fast do GoTab changes show up?
GoTab sends updates to Live Tap Lists in real time for your connected location, so your menus update as soon as you change an item in GoTab.
Which fields sync from GoTab?
Item name, availability, images, categories, tags, descriptions, and sizes and prices.
What does the GoTab and Live Tap Lists integration do?
It uses your GoTab menu data to power your Live Tap Lists digital menus, keeping TVs, screens, and digital signage in sync. GoTab handles the data, Live Tap Lists handles the presentation, and your staff does less work.
What if I have values in GoTab that I do not want on my menus?
You can choose which fields sync from GoTab for each item. For example, if a name in GoTab is not customer-friendly, you can override it in Live Tap Lists and it will no longer pull from GoTab.
How do I add a new menu item after I connect?
New items are pulled in automatically when they are created in GoTab. They arrive as inactive so nothing appears on a menu by accident. Add any extra information in Live Tap Lists, then set the item to active to show it on your menus.
How do I stop getting updates from GoTab but keep my menu items?
Disconnect from GoTab on the Integrations page. Your menu items stay in your Live Tap Lists account and you can keep using them.
What do I do if I do not see my updates?
First verify that the item and variant you are updating are available at the location you connected. Next, disconnect and reconnect from GoTab on the Integrations page. Disconnecting does not remove items, so your menus keep working, and reconnecting pulls the entire GoTab catalog again. If problems persist, email grant@livetaplists.com.
Does Live Tap Lists integrate with other point of sale systems?
Yes. Live Tap Lists also integrates with Square, Clover, Toast, and Genius, and is actively building more. You can request your POS at /pos-interest.
